Photo provided Delphi Preservation Society (DPS) has presented its 2005 Recognition Award to Dick and Karyl Traeger.

The presentation was made at the Society's annual meeting held last month. The Recognition Award honors an outstanding contribution to the preservation of an historic structure in greater Delphi. It is presented to a property owner or to an organization that has had a property nominated by a DPS member during the previous calendar year.

"The Brick" is located at 203 E. Monroe Street in Delphi and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Barnett-Seawright-Wilson House. It is also featured on the cover of "99 Historic Homes of Indiana." Built in 1857, the residence is a combination of the Greek Revival and Italianate architectural styles.
