4-H girls represented Carroll County at the three-day science workshop at Purdue University. Workshops included Animal Science-Swine and Veterinary Swine; Computer Science and Food Science. The 4-Hers are pictured (l-r): Kara Overholser, swine; Natalie Garrison, veterinary science; Amanda Plank, food science; and Malena Zook, computer science. They worked under the direction of Purdue faculty during hands-on exercises. They gained technical knowledge in their field and developed life skills such as responsibility, decision-making, leadership, and communication.
