Dyer TAMMY L. DYER, clerk-treasurer of the Town of Burlington, has been awarded the p r e s t i g i o u s designation of " I n d i a n a A c c r e d i t e d M u n i c i p a Clerk" (IAMC) from the Indiana League of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers for achieving its high educational, experience, and service requirements.
Dyer has served the Town of Burlington as clerk-treasurer since January 2003. She attained her designation as an Indiana Accredited Municipal Clerk through league membership and attendance at regional and state meetings and by completing the number of hours required by the Institute of Municipal Clerks continuing education program. Active in her professional affiliations, Dyer is a member of the Indiana League of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers, the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns, and the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. She is also active in her community, serving as vice president of the Carroll County Republican Women, secretary of the board of directors of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, and as a member of the Carroll County Animal Control Board.
Dyer joins 122 other active municipal clerks and clerk-treasurers from Indiana who currently hold the designation of "Indiana Accredited Municipal Clerk."
Meadows N o r t h C e n t r a l A d v e r t i s i n g Federation of I n d i a n a ( N C A F ) P r e s i d e n t A L L I S O N MEADOWS was elected to the American Advertising Federation District 6 Board of Directors during the AAF National Convention in San Francisco, June 10-14. Meadows will serve as the state director of Indiana. District 6 is one of 15 AAF districts. The AAF is the unifying voice for advertising, binding the mutual interests of corporate advertisers, marketers, agencies, media companies, suppliers and academia. The 6th District is comprised of over 6,000 members in 17 clubs and affiliated organizations in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. While in San Francisco, Meadows also accepted four national AAF Club Achievement Awards on behalf of her club. NCAF earned second place honors in Club Management and Diversity and Multi-Cultural Initiatives; third place recognition in Advertising Education; and received the Saatchi and Saatchi Education Award.
