The Carroll County Sheriff's Department and Delphi City Police Department have been investigating several thefts from vehicles.
In a press release dated June 13, authorities said that the vehicles were unlocked at the time of the thefts. Items taken included CD cases, loose change, credit cards, purses, power tools and even groceries.
Most of the incidents have occurred at night.
Police strongly suggest that vehicle owners secure their cars when left unattended, even for a brief period of time.
