Carve your name in granite

Jackson Jackson Endowment funds are like big blocks of granite. They last, and last. And one way that you can have your influence in this community last way down the pages of time is by carving your name in a Carroll County Community Foundation Endowment Fund. Doesn't that cost a lot of money?

Not really. It only costs $5,000 to establish your own endowment fund in the Community Foundation. That's about a third of what you'd pay for a motorcycle or fishing boat. The boat and m o t o r c y c l e will wear out, but your e n d o w m e n t fund will be here doing good in the community till the end of time. Of course if circumstances permit, your fund can exceed $5,000 and can be started in a variety of ways.

Think of it! Till the end of time your fund will be providing support to general charitable work in the community, or if you prefer, you can select the specific charitable cause that your fund supports, and know that that charity will be supported by your fund in perpetuity. Talk about doing something that will make you feel good all over. You can have the fund bear your name, or be named in honor or memory of someone that you care about. Some folks have used this opportunity to honor parents or a spouse by supporting a church or charitable organization that the individual believed in and supported while alive.

Another plus is that your gift will grow as the years go by and its influence in the community will grow as well. People living in Carroll County a hundred years from now will know that you were here and that you thought it was important to support charitable work in your community.

To learn more, call 800 9640508, or send us a note at Carroll County Community Foundation, P.O. Box 24, Flora, IN, 46929 or e-mail us at info@cfcarroll.org and ask to talk about the options for setting up your own Endowment Fund. We will be happy to answer your questions and work with you to set up the Fund to meet your needs. Or, just stop me when you see me out on the street. I'd love to talk with you about what the Foundation is doing in Carroll County.
