Christopher Lucas Brooks, 2 1/2, of Kokomo, died Friday evening, June 2, 2006, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 27, 2003, at Home Hospital in Lafayette.

Surviving are his parents, James T. "Tom" and Ashley Shelley Jr.; maternal grandparents, Anthony Best of Virginia and Sheila Best of Cutler; paternal grandparents, James T. Shelley of Elwood, Rebecca Coy of Flora, and Lynette and Randy Graves; maternal great-grandparents, Waneta Wells of Flora and Sue Cope of Florida; and paternal great-grandmother, Margaret Graves.

Services will be at 3 p.m., today, Wednesday, at Reinke Funeral Home in Flora. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery in Bringhurst.
