Adams Twp. 80th reunion

The 80th annual Adams Township High School Alumni Banquet and School Reunion was held May 20 at Beehive Gymnasium in Burnettsville, with 53 people attending. Alumni president Ernestine Brown Spence presided.

Luther Cree of the class of 1938 was honored for his life and contributions to society. Recognition was given to members of the honor classes as follows: Gertrude Slusser, 65th anniversary, class of 1941; Robert Shafer, 60th anniversary, class of 1946; Homer Shafer, 55th anniversary, class of 1951; and Pat Vernon McAninch, 8th grade anniversary, class of 1956.

Vivian Maddock Alma gave a memorial tribute honoring 13 persons deceased druing the past year.

Barb Roller and Tom Temple led a sing-along of patriotic songs, in keeping with the program theme, God Bless America.
