KENTLAND SUMMER FESTIVAL will be held June 16-18. On June 16, Pat Tebo DJ Service will play easy listening and have karoke from 8 p.m. to midnight. On June 17, The Community Band will play for the chicken dinner from 5 to 7 p.m., then Jabrocks will play from 8 p.m. to midnight. Indiana Farm Bureau will host a FARM BILL FOCUS MEETING on June 27 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Noblesville. The current farm bill, formally known as the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002, expires at the end of the 2007 crop year. Dr. Allan Gray, an agricultural economist from Purdue University, will share his insight on farm bill options being proposed to Congress, including the political mood, fiscal impacts, payment limitations, affected commodities, conservation programs, energy program, rural development and trade impacts. There will be time for questions. Members of commodity and agriculture interest groups are encouraged to attend.

The FACES OF LINCOLN EXHIBITION has become a regular stop for visitors of the Indiana History Center, 450 W. Ohio Street. The rotating exhibition will take on a new visage from June 24 to Oct. 22, when the topic "Lincoln and the Civil War: Gettysburg through Appomattox" will be featured. The Faces of Lincoln will include a rendering of the Gettysburg Address and images of military events, leaders, soldiers and wartime politics. The next rotation "Lincoln's Assassination & Trial of Conspirators," will take center stage beginning in late October.
