Registration for the 28th annual Carroll County Hog Jog has begun. The event will be held June 17 at Flora Community Park. For the first time, Flora Lions Club is sponsoring the event.

Featured will be a 2-mile run/walk that will begin at 7:30 a.m.; a 10K run at 8:10 a.m.; and a Runt Jog for ages 2 to 7 at 9:15 a.m. Both the 10K and the 2-mile runs are certified race courses. Electronic time and scoring will

be done this year by The End Result Company.

The entry fee is $12 if postmarked or received by June 10 and $15 the day of the race. Free T-shirts will be given to the

first 500 entrants.

Race participants may register online at www.hogjog.com or may pickup entry forms at various businesses in the area.

Volunteers are needed to help with the race. Anyone interested should contact Norm Beck or any member of the Flora Lions Club.
