May is salsa month
     May is salsa month. Salsa, which is Spanish for "sauce," is traditionally made of tomatoes, hot peppers (chiles), onions and spices. Three common styles of salsa are: tomato-based salsas; vegetables salsas, based on corn and black beans; and fruit salsas which use mango, peaches and papaya.

A new look for a downtown landmark
Preservation group receives restoration funding
     Last October the Delphi Preservation Society, Inc. (DPS) submitted a grant proposal to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources' 2006 Historic Preservation Fund. The group needed the money to restore the faade of the old Delphi City Hall Building, which later became the opera house.
