During a May 5 luncheon, the Indiana University Kokomo School of Business announced the winners of eight scholarships for the 2006-2007 academic year. Among the four scholarships who were designated for undergraduate business students was EFFIE JONES of Flora. An accounting major, she received the Fingleton Accounting Scholarship.

FAITH E. ARTHUR of Burlington graduated magna cum laude from Grace College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. She received honorable mention as an "Outstanding Prospective Elementary Teacher," and was included in the 2006 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Grace College held its annual commencement ceremony on May 6.
