Meetings
Wednesday Forum
Members of Wednesday Forum met at the home of Lois Kueker for the May meeting. Margaret Burkle presented a program on preserving family history by writing stories of families.
She shared some of the stories that she has been writing. Some were about her activities on the farm when she was a young girl. She brought a tablecloth with signatures that had been started when she and her husband were stationed at Fort Benning, Ga. Many members of the 176th Infantry signed the tablecloth and she embroidered the signatures. Since then, Burkle has made the tablecloth into a wall hanging. She encouraged members to write stories of their families.
