Myers, Obirek exchange vows

Brenna Myers of Delphi and Joe Obirek of Beecher, Ill., exchanged wedding vows on Nov. 19 at 2:30 p.m. at the Onward Christian Church in Onward. She is the daughter of Don and Charlene Myers of Delphi. He is the son of Gail Sprague of Beecher and Mike Obirek of Chicago.

Paul Marcellino officiated the ceremony with music provided by pianist Joyce Eshelman of Walton and vocalist Wendy Clark of Philadelphia, Pa.

Maid of honor was Dana Marcellino of Camden. Shefanie Alvis of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kimberly Woods of Demotte, Marlene Korty of Lafayette and Victoria Farrow of Jamestown were bridesmaids. Eve Clark of Philadelphia, Pa. was flower girl and Mason Pullen of Walton was the ring bearer.

Performing the duties of best man was Rob Deenik of Beecher. Blaine Burton of

Delphi, Brad Hulsman of Bloomington and Andrew Waldony of Beecher were groomsmen. Scott and Andy Obirek of Beecher were ushers.

The reception was held at the Holiday Inn in Logansport. Megan Ramsey of Lafayette was guest registrar and Libby Smith was gift attendant.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Delphi Community High School and a 2005 graduate of Purdue University, with degree in psychology/social work.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Beecher High School and a 2004 graduate of Rose Hulman with an electrical engineering degree in flight controls design. He works for Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Following an eight-day wedding trip to St. Lucia in the West Indies, the couple is at home at 1911 Buckingham Dr. NW, Apt. 1, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
