Aclever clown at a country fair greatly amused the crowd by imitating the squeals of a pig. But an honest countryman won greater applause by surprising the clown's artistry. Opening his cloak, he showed that a real pig had been doing the squealing. Good merchandise advertised with simple honesty is not enough to win today's public. It seems that Flora is soon to have a system of water works. A company with a capital stock of $25,000 has been organized in which Chas. G. Sines, E.G. Kitzmiller, Charles E. Nobes, Chas. Voorhees and M.W. Eaton are directors. The water will be secured from deep driven wells and the work of construction will begin as soon as the preliminaries are completed and the town board gives permission.
