Carroll County's COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN COMMITTEE is meeting this morning in the commissioners' meeting room, second floor of the courthouse.

CARROLL COUNTY CHURCH MINISTRIES will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Camden First Baptist Church.

Burlington Kiwanis Club will hold its ANNUAL AUCTION on Saturday, starting at 3 p.m. in the Park Community Building. The club has collected new and used items, meal and service

certificates, and crafts that will be auctioned. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund Kiwanis Club projects which benefit local children, including scholarships, local Key clubs, and donations to Riley Hospital.

Carroll County's public libraries are working together on a project called CARROLL COUNTY ON THE SAME PAGE. The goal is to have all readers in Carroll County read the book selected by library staff, and attend the events. Several copies of the book will be available at the CamdenJackson Twp. Public Library, Delphi Public Library, and Flora-Monroe Twp. Public Library. The program will begin June 1. Details will be announced in the May 24 issue of the Comet.

May 20 at 9 a.m. is designated as a FUN DAY at Canal Park in Delphi. There will be flower planting at the park, wildflower transplanting along the trails, and fun things for kids, parents and others to do. Groups and individuals of all ages are welcome. The Canal Association will have some flowers, but bringing flowers to plant will also be appreciated.
