Purdue recruit played for Baker

Keaton Grant, Purdue men's basketball's new recruit from Kissimmee, Fla., has a Carroll County connection. His high school coach at Gateway High School was Bob Baker, a 1968 graduate of Carroll High School.
Grant, 6'3", was a four-year starter for Baker, averaging 24
points his senior year. Grant graduated from high school in 2005 and spent the 2005-06 season at Bridgton Academy prep school in Maine. He averaged 17 points per game at Bridgton's point guard position and will have freshman eligibility after spending one year at the prep school.
