Services for Alena L. Hutson, 90, of Cutler, were held Saturday at Reinke Funeral Home, Flora. Pastor Cathy Long officiated and burial was at Ball Hill Cemetery, Cutler.

She passed away at 6:15 a.m. April 27, 2006, at Lafayette Home Hospital.

Born Oct. 19, 1915, in Cutler, she was the daughter of Marvin V. and Mayme Fern Allen Jervis. She graduated from Cutler High School in 1935.

Her marriage was on Dec. 6, 1938, in the Cutler Presbyterian Church parsonage, to Clayton Hutson, who survives.

A homemaker, Mrs. Hutson had worked at Sayco and the Rainbow Caf, both in Flora, and was a beautician.

She was a member of the Cutler Presbyterian Church.

She loved to send cards - get well, birthday, anniversary, etc.

Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Pam Lesh (husband: Dan) of Cutler; a son, Dana Hutson (wife: Jeannie) of Cutler; four grandchildren, Marianne Lesh, James L. Hutson and Timothy F. Hutson, all of Cutler, and Mark D. Lesh (wife: Dana) of Indianapolis; and two greatgrandchildren, Aidan D. Lesh and Aaron D. Lesh, both of Indianapolis.

Two brothers and a grandson preceded her in death.
