DePauw University sophomores MEGAN LYNN WALTON and JAMIE ANN NIPPLE, both of Delphi, are community service volunteers. Through the entirely student managed DePauw Community Service, students serve in 25 community organizations and agencies.

DePauw students have a long tradition of community service, and approximately three-fourths of the student body participates in community service each year.

HARRY SMITH of Bringhurst has been awarded a Presidential Scholarship from Bethel College. An award for academic achievement, it is one of several scholarships given by the college.
