Deer Creek Alumni Association met recently at the Deer Creek Community Center with 104 in attendance.

Lavon Johnson from the Class of 1931 was the oldest member present, and Leroy Robeson Jr. from the Class of 1932 was the next oldest.

Officers for 2007 are: Nancy Larimore, president; Charles Appleton, vice president; Lois Wallace, secretary; Kenny Yeakley, treasurer. Deceased members since last

year are: Dorothy Olds Rice, Mary Cook Mattox, Helen Yeakley Perry, Lawrence Johnson, Sarah Brant Hostetler, Kenneth Cornell, Kenneth Delaplane, Marjorie Hile Arion, Max Larimore, Crystal Cook Brehmer.

The honored class was the Class of 1956, for 50 years. Attending were Carolyn Downham Shriver, Dean and Perrietta Appleton, Sue Black Stratton, Eugene Dillon, Gene Larimore, Dana Laymon, Joanne Snider Timmons, and Ronnie Guckien.
