The Deer Creek Community Center is hosting a Chicken Bash tonight. Tickets must be purchased in advance from Betty's Stop & Shop or any board member. No tickets will be sold at the door.

The Johnson-Herr reunion was held recently at the Deer Creek Community Center with 43 family members attending.

Loren and Karen Hylton recently traveled to Batesville, to visit his aunt, Gertrude Hylton Bowman. She was his father's older sister. They also visited Mike and Sally Hinkle.

Deer Creek Golden Girls went out for lunch and shopping recently at Thorntown. Those attending were Betty Gordon of Logansport, Marilyn Hile and Dot Fulton of Deer Creek, and Pat Burnham and Joann Jones of Thorntown.
