Ollie D. Moore, 88, of Flora, passed away at M i l n e r Community H e a l t h c a r e Center in

Rossville at

9:20 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2006.

Born Jan. 20, 1918, in Lamar County, Alabama, she was the daughter of William K. and Lillar Carr Pennington. She married Carl Moore on Aug. 12, 1933, in Lamar County. He preceded her on Dec. 28, 1981.

Mrs. Moore was a housewife and had also been a factory worker. She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church in Flora.

Surviving are five daughters. Mrs. Dorothy (husband: Burl) Wiles, Mrs. Chris Ramsey, Mrs. Judy (husband: Orville) Reed, Mrs. Barbara (husband: Ron) Marchand, all of Flora, and Mrs. Ann (husband: Greg) Fahl of Columbia City. Also surviving are one brother, William K. Pennington, of Greenwood, Ark., and one sister, Mamie Whitus of Battleground, Ind.

Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 26 greatgrandchildren and nine greatgreat grandchildren.

Three brothers, one sister and one son preceded her in death.

Services will be Thursday, April 27, at 2 p.m. at Valley View Baptist Church in Flora. Burial will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora. Pastor Bill Godby will officiate the service. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Reinke Funeral Home in Flora.
