Kenneth E. Wolf
Services for Kenneth E. Wolf, 90, of Rossville were held Thursday at Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Home brethren officiated and burial was at Middle Fork Old German Baptist Cemetery.
He died at 10 a.m. April 20, 2006, at Milner Community Health Care Center, Rossville, where he had resided the past month.
Born Dec. 5, 1915, in Miami County, near Peru, he was the son of Roy A. and Lucy J. Cottrell Wolf. He married Lois M. Austin on July 25, 1936, in Clinton County, and she preceded him in death on April 18, 2006.
He moved to Clinton County at the age of four and resided there the rest of his life. He attended Rossville schools for ten and a half years.
Mr. Wolf started dairy farming south of Rossville in 1944. He also worked at the Monon Railroad for a short time and at Gray's Hatchery at Delphi and Rossville, counting baby chicks. He retired in 1985.
He was a member of the Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathryn A. Mohler (husband: Marvin) of rural Rossville; a son, Gerald L. Wolf (wife: Diane) of Fremont; a daughter-in-law, Mary Wolf of Fremont; nine grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and four great-greatgrandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Gordon C. Wolf, and two brothers, Roscoe Wolf and Cleo Wolf.
Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville, was in charge of arrangements.
