Fifty-four land owners in Jackson Township, calling themselves Neighbors for a Clean Environment Association, are opposing Top Sow's plans to locate a large confined farrowing operation in their neighborhood.

Top Sow, a limited liability corporation, has already secured an option to buy 80 acres, located at the northeast corner of CRs 200W and 300N, from Yeager & Sullivan, Inc., a building permit from the County, and approval from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.

The $2.4 million operation would include facilities for breeding, gestation, farrowing and a nursery.

Recognition Day, for the purpose of saying a long overdue "Thank You" to these young Americans who served their country as an act of patriotism and with honor and dignity.

Fishin's never been better for the past several years at the lakes. The Peters cottage in Tioga Park is one of the best laid-out cottage sites we have seen for some time. Mr. Peters has been in the piano business in Indianapolis for 40 years and it is no doubt from this experience that his ideas of harmony come. He has built in a pond and minnow pool. Around these he has arranged flowers of all descriptions. Inside the house the sleeping rooms are arranged to face the lake, everything above the basement is convenient and tasteful.
