In last week's Comet it was incorrectly stated that Judy Berkshire and others were successful 10 years ago in stopping construction of a hog CAFO in their neighborhood. The final decision by the court was in favor of the Top Sow group and they could have constructed their hog buildings. The farmers chose not to construct at that time due to low hog prices.
