CARROLL COUNTY BLOOD DRIVE will be May 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Carroll Junior-Senior High School and is sponsored by the National Honor Society. The DEMOCRATIC CENTRAL COMMITTEE will meet April 27 at 7 p.m. at Flora Community Center in the Senior Center building on North Division Street.
DELPHI GIRLS SOFTBALL LEAGUE is offering a scholarship opportunity for any girl who has played in the league. Submit a letter including future goals, two letters of recommendation and high school transcript by May 15 to Kay Trent at Delphi Community High School Guidance Office.
TWIN LAKES REGIONAL SEWER DISTRICT is holding a special meeting Thursday at 2 p.m. in the county council chamber in the White County Courthouse to plan a Phase III public meeting. The special meeting will be just prior to the regularly scheduled sewer district board meeting at 3 p.m.
CARROLL COUNTY CITIZENS CONCERNED ABOUT TLRSD are invited to attend a meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. at Yeoman United Methodist Church on US421. The purpose of the meeting is to gather support for a petition to object to inclusion of outlying Jefferson Township residents into the sewer district. The petition will be presented to Carroll County Commissioners at their May 1 meeting.

INDIANA BLOOD CENTER will conduct blood drives at both county high schools. The first will be April 28 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Delphi Community High School. The second will be May 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School, sponsored by National Honor Society.
The National Association of Letter Carriers will be COLLECTING FOOD for local Food Banks on May 13. All food collected in Carroll County will stay in the county.

DELPHI ART CLUB will meet May 4 at the Brookston Library. (Use the northwest entrance.) Hosts for the evening will be Snooky Widmer and Dot and Jimmie Mansfield. The program will be the winter challenge. The project will use two or more different mediums. All those attending are welcome to participate in the challenge, even if they aren't club members.
RED CROSS BLOODMOBILE will visit Carroll County on May 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Flora United Methodist Church.
