Ron and Diane Wertz of Camden announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen LeeAnn, to Randy Robert Swygman. He is the son of Robert and Ruth Ann Swygman of Wolcott.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Delphi Community High School. She graduated from Indiana State University in 2004 with a B.S. degree in physical and health education. She is employed at Delphi Community Middle School as an At-Risk aide.

Her fianc is a 2000 graduate of Tri-County High School. He is employed by Farmers Co-op of Wolcott.

They are planning an Aug. 19 wedding.
