Chandler Carroll County's newly formed Chamber of Commerce will host a kick-off reception Thursday evening from 5 to 7 at the 4-H Community Building in Flora.

This will be an opportunity to meet the organization's new e x e c u t i v e director, Keith Chandler, and to share ideas with the board

of directors.

"Our county is off to a good start with the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce. We all need to contribute to the economic future of our children if we expect them to continue to call this place 'home,'" said Dick Bradshaw, acting president of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce. "We are excited to provide this first-time opportunity to the business community within Carroll County. It will give everyone a chance to network with other business professionals, as well as provide an open, informal forum for you to share your thoughts about the future of business development within your county."

Memberships will be available at the reception. The Chamber is offering a 25% discount on membership for the first year.

Refreshments will be served and door prizes awarded to members of the Chamber.
