Project W.E.E.D. (Wabash & Erie Earth Day) will be April 22. Volunteers (youth, adults, groups, individuals) will meet at Canal Park, Delphi, at 9 a.m. for flag raising and job assignments.

Work will involve picking up debris along the trails and working on flower beds and landscaping in Canal Park.

New volunteers are always welcome. Anyone who enjoys the park and trails is invited to join in the clean-up effort. Those who bring their own hand tools are asked to put their name on them.

Everyone will return to the Canal Park shelter at noon for lunch served by members of the local Psi Iota Xi sorority.
