Faith Lutheran Church will have their last Lenten soup and sandwich supper on Wednesday evening, starting at 6 p.m. Worship will begin at 6:45 and choir practice will follow at 7:30. All are welcome to attend.
The April meeting of women of the WELCA will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the church. This will be a bi-annual business meeting. Mildred Lamb will give devotions and the social time will be hosted by Julia Barer and Nancy Layman. All the women of the church are invited to attend.
A surprise birthday party was held recently for Dot Fulton. Those attending were Judy and Dix Weaver, Kim and Roger Bailey, Meg and Dale Burnworth, Ed and Phyllis McCloskey, Don and Jean Willy.
Gary and Kim Forgey and son, Patrick, recently traveled to Springfield, Mo., to visit another son, Ryan, who is a student at Central Bible College. Their son, Kyle, has returned from a oneweek mission trip for his church, First Assembly of God in Logansport. The birthday song was sung Sunday at Faith Lutheran Church for Eldon Robeson who turned 85 on April 2. A family dinner was held that evening. His granddaughter, Katrina, had the made the floral arrangements for the altar.
A new group has been formed called "The Good Neighbor Gals." They all went out for lunch recently. Those attending were Helen Forgey, Ruthina Forgey, Ellen Herr, Marilyn Hile, Dot Fulton, Betty Bell, Doris Jean Bryan, and Mary Ellen Johnson.
