Faith Lutheran Church is having soup and sandwich suppers starting at 6 p.m., followed by worship service at 6:45 during Lent. Choir practice is at 7:30 p.m.

Pat O'Donnell was recently honored with a party for his 91st Birthday. Family and friends celebrated with him.

Paul and Sharon Myers's son-in-law, Quentin Dodd, and his wife, Paula, and his friend and partner, Greg Davis, from Arizona, have finished their movie called "Zorg and Andy." They own their own production company.

The Golden Girls of Deer Creek went out to lunch together recently. Those attending were Betty Gordon and Jane Slusser of Logansport, Marilyn Hile and Dot Fulton of Deer Creek, Mary Blue of Cutler, and Joann Jones and Pat Burnham of Thorntown. The Deer Creek Community Center is hosting a Hap's Chicken Bash on April 26 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. There will also be a bale sale. If interested in furnishing some items, contact Lois Wallace 8592695.
