The annual Delphi Spring Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for April 8 at 10 a.m. at Canal Park.

Children from one to nine are encouraged to meet at the shelter and participate in the fun sponsored by Carroll County Step Ahead, Prevent Child Abuse Carroll County, 4-H Junior Leaders and Delphi's Key Club. Prizes donated by local businesses will be awarded to several lucky hunters in each age category. Flora

The Flora Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, will also be April 8 at Flora Community Park. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. with the hunt starting at 10:30 a.m.

There will be approximately 4,000 candy-filled eggs, soft drinks and the Easter Bunny will hand out hugs and chocolate bunnies. Small prizes will be awarded to all hunters and more than 30 special prizes for lucky hunters. Parents should bring cameras.

In case of rain, a small party to distribute goodies will be held in the old skating rink in Flora.
