Wednesdays In The Wild will host Darrell Schulze, professor of soil science in Purdue's department of agronomy at Lilly Nature Center today from 1 to 3 p.m. The SOILS OF CELERY BOG NATURE AREA presentation will be followed by an outdoor walk. Wednesdays in the Wild will feature FERNS, MOSSES & LIVERWORTS. Purdue's Dendrology Lecturer Sally Weeks will lead a walk that focuses on identifying these non-vascular plants. The presentation will be at Martell Forest on April 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. Carpool leaves Lilly Nature Center at 12:15 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Senator Richard Lugar's office and AARP Indiana are hosting INFORMATION SESSIONS on the new Medicare prescription drug program. Two programs will be held in this area. On April 15 at 10 a.m., a program will be held at the Johanning Civic Center, 1500 N. Reed Rd. (US 31) in Kokomo. Later that day, April 15, a program will be held at 2 p.m. at the Best Western Hotel, 4343 SR 26 East, Lafayette. While registration is not required to attend these sessions, seating is limited.
