All Carroll County women are invited to attend a free "Ladies' Day Out" from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 8 at Delphi Community High School. All portions of the event (including lunch and bone density screenings) are free, but pre-registration by phone is required.

The agencies hosting this event are the Family Health Clinic of Carroll County and the YWCA Women's Cancer Program of Lafayette, with funding from the Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust.

Ladies' Day Out will include presentations on breast and cervical health, heart health, urinary health, and osteoporosis. Free bone density screenings will be offered. The main speaker will be Dr. Michelle Whitt, M.D. The day also will feature a catered lunch, games, and prizes.
