Ruth M. Schultz
Ruth M. Schultz, 80, of 1961N 1100W, Medaryville, died at 6 a.m. on March 9, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette.
Born in LaCrosse on March 7, 1926, she was the daughter of Eva Marsh Earle. She was a 1944 graduate of LaCrosse High School.
Her marriage was to Edward K. Schultz in Francesville on June 10, 1944, and he died in August of 1983.
Mrs. Schultz was a cook at the West Central schools for over 30 years.
She was a member of Medaryville United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, American Legion Auxiliary, Hearth and Home home economics club and Pulaski County Chorus.
She had been a Sunday school teacher for many years and was known as the cake lady.
Surviving are four sons, Kenneth E. Schultz (wife: Charlene) of East Granby, Conn., Jerry A. Schultz (wife: Dolly) of Fort Wayne, Donald M. "Mike" Schultz (wife: Donna) of Austin, Texas, and Raymond T. Schultz (wife: Joan) of Medaryville; a daughter, Becky S. Stiller (husband: Robert) of Flora; four brothers, William Earle of Kouts, Louis Earle of San Pierre, Maurice Earle of Tucson, Ariz., and Les Earle of LaCrosse; a sister, Joyce Hayes of LaCrosse; nine grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Services were in Francesville on Sunday, with burial at White Post Cemetery in Medaryville. Arrangements were made by QuerryUlbricht Funeral Home in Francesville.
