Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School Guidance Department will present an INFORMATIONAL MEETING for all current 8th grade students and their parents on March 23 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Information concerning graduation requirements, four-year plans, and other expectations for students will be discussed. All students and their parents in the Class of 2010 should plan to attend.
An informational meeting for parents entitled CYBER-WHAT will be presented at 7 p.m. March 22 in the Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School auditorium. The meeting will help parents identify what their teen may really be doing on-line. Matt Stump is program organizer.
Dr. Daniela Elena will speak at a CARROLL COUNTY CANCER ASSOCIATION meeting March 16 at 7 p.m. in the GerberGlobe Valve Room at the Delphi Public Library. She will present the latest research on ovarian cancer. The public is welcome.
YOUNG AMERICA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT. is having an open house and hog roast March 18 from 3-8 p.m. to dedicate its new fire station. New fire equipment will be on display.

BIRTHRIGHT OF DELPHI is collecting items for a rummage sale. Good used items can be delivered to Honan Hall March 23 from 3 to 6 p.m. and March 26 from 9 a.m. until noon. Clothing racks, hangars and workers are also needed. Proceeds will be used to sponsor volunteers at a three-day training. For information call Holly at (765) 564-2620.
The second distribution of the RIF books will be March 21 at HILLCREST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. It will feature a family event with activities for all. There will be two sessions, with kindergarten though second grade attending from 6:30-7:15 p.m. and third through fifth grade attending from 7:15-8 p.m.
ALL YOU CAN EAT FISH DINNER fundraiser for Carroll County Senior and Family Services will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Solomon's Grill in Delphi.
CARROLL COUNTY ELECTION BOARD will meet March 21 at 2 p.m. in the clerk's office at the courthouse.
CARROLL COUNTY COMMISSIONERS will hold a regular meeting on March 20 at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Room at the courthouse. The public is invited.
CARROLL COUNTY DEMOCRAT CENTRAL COMMITTEE will meet March 23 at 7 p.m. in the Delphi Public Library. Work associated with the primary will be a discussion topic. The public is invited to attend.
CARROLL COUNTY OPEN CLASS FASHION COMPETITION will be held April 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the 4-H Community Building in Flora. It is open to any Carroll County resident 18 years or older and not enrolled in 4-H. The competition promotes home sewing techniques, individual creativity and recognizes special talents. Anyone interested in the areas of health and wellness is invited to join a team that wants to offer healthy lifestyle options in Carroll County. It will meet on March 16 from 7 to 8 a.m. at Delphi Public Library in the Globe Room.
