Faith Lutheran Church will have Ash Wednesday services March 1 with communion and worship starting at 7 p.m. All are invited.

The Golden Girls met recently at a restaurant in Lafayette for lunch. Those attending were Pat Burnham and Joann Jones of Thorntown, Mary Blue of Cutler, Dot Fulton of Deer Creek, and Betty Gordon and Jane Slusser of Logansport.

Faith Lutheran Church had a program after Sunday’s worship service called “Heart-to-Heart.” Speaker was Mike Durr, Carroll County EMS director. He explained about the county’s plan to have AEDs at both Faith Lutheran and Deer Creek Presbyterian churches.

Don and Betty Bell have returned from an extended visit to their winter home in Florida. They returned in time to attend the wedding of their granddaughter, Tara Bell, and Matt Lundy. Also attending were the bride’s father, Terry Bell of Florida, Mark, Milissa and Sierra Bell, and Ryan Bell.

Mark and Milissa Bell of West Point are parents of a baby boy named Brady Michael Bell. He is the new great-grandson of Don and Betty Bell.
