Baker Baker The Purdue U n i v e r s i t y Agricultural Education program has placed a student teacher, K R I S T E N BAKER, with the agricultural science and business instructor, Steve Keown, at Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School.

She came to Carroll on Feb. 20, and will be there through May 5. She is teaching classes in animal science, food science, fundamentals of agriculture, and eighth grade agriculture. She also is assisting with agricultural mechanics and advanced life sciences – animal.

Her student teaching experience will include advising FFA activities such as career development events, leadership conferences, and other chapter FFA activities.

Baker will be supervised on site by Bryan Hains from Purdue.

S T E P H E N COLE SIWINSKI, son of Stephen and D e b o r a h Siwinski of Flora and a 2002 graduate of Twin Lakes High School, has been named to the Dean’s List at Columbia College in Chicago, Ill. On a 4.0 scale, he carries a 3.950 GPA.

He will graduate in May and plans to pursue a career in television producing.

Siwinski is the producer of Frequency Television, Columbia College’s student-run television station, and host for the Back Burner cooking show, which can be found by visiting iTunes and typing in Frequency Television. He is also associate producer for Check, Please! on WTTW Chicago PBS, and production assistant for Sound Stage & Legends of Jazz, where he has worked with such visiting artists as John Mayer, B.B. King, Robert Plant, Cyndi Lauper, Counting Crows, and many others.

BETHANY A. DOLICK of Lafayette has been named to the fall 2005 semester dean’s list at Purdue University. She is a first year nursing student.
