Carroll athletic director Scott Ayres has announced schedule changes for boys’ varsity and junior varsity holiday tournaments to be played next week.

The junior varsity tourney at Clinton Prairie will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 27. Carroll will play at 10:15 a.m.

The Clinton Central Holiday Tourney will be played Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 28-29. Carroll’s first game will be Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Winter Sports Summaries Carroll 8th whips Tri-County

After trailing 7-6 after the first quarter, the Carroll 8th grade boys basketball team outscored Tri-County by 29 points during the final three quarters for a 5224 victory.

Kyle Geheb and Drew Yoder with 12 points each led the Cougars in scoring. Drake Harper pulled down seven rebounds and Jordan Brumbaugh, 6. Dallas Butcher handed out three assists.

The team has improved its record to 8-2.
