Dec. 12, 4:35 a.m. – The DPD was advised of a possible overdose/ suicidal person at a residence on Indiana Street. Upon arrival, a male was very combative and resisted with a knife. Brian McFarren, 20, Delphi, was taken into custody by force, and then transported and held at Home Hospital for medical testing. Officer Justin Wilson investigated.

Flora Police Dept.

Dec. 13, 1:50 p.m. A report of theft was taken at 304 S. Division St. Buck T. Brooks, 24, Delphi, was arrested for theft. Chief Paul Redmon investigated. Captain John Chapman, Carroll Co. Sheriff’s Dept., assisted.

Dec. 13, 8:40 p.m. Following a traffic stop, Kevin C. Hammel, 22, Delphi, was arrested on a Carroll County warrant for revocation of probation and driving while suspended misdemeanor. Officers Mark Thomas and Josh Disinger assisted.

Dec. 16, 3:30 p.m. A report of juvenile battery that occurred at Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School was taken. A report was forwarded to the probation office. Chief Paul Redmon investigated.

Dec. 17, 1 a.m. Following a traffic stop, James A. Campbell, 19, Rossville, was arrested for minor possession of alcohol. Erika L. Odore, 18, Rossville, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Officer Disinger investigated. Deputy Tony Liggett assisted.

Dec 18, 12:54 a.m. Following a traffic stop, Timothy Taylor, 51, Cutler, was arrested for operating while intoxicated. Officer Disinger investigated.

Indiana State Police

Dec. 13 – Richard Loredo, 34, Indianapolis, was arrested as an habitual traffic offender after being stopped for a traffic violation on SR 29 at Deer Creek. He was incarcerated in Carroll County Jail. Sgt. Jay Kistler investigated.

Dec. 13 – Trooper S. Buckley investigated a report of a window on a back door broken at 3375 E. 550 S., Burlington. A search of the residence revealed that nothing was taken.
