Steven D. Morgan
Steven D. Morgan, 44, of Delphi, died unexpectedly Dec. 19, 2005, at 8:15 a.m. at 4100 St. Rd. 26 E., Lafayette.
Born June 17,
1961, in
Lafayette, he was the son of Donald C. Morgan and Nancy Bond. His marriage was to Cheryl L. Berkshire Duff in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 15, 1989, and she survives.
Mr. Morgan worked for 10 years for the Carroll County Highway Department, and for William Duff farms of Delphi, with hog management and farming.
He graduated from Longmont High School in Colorado in 1979, and attended Ivy Tech State College.
He attended the Delphi United Methodist Church, and enjoyed bowling, fishing, and mechanics.
Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Kayleigh A. Morgan, at home; two sons, Adam Duff (wife: Suzann) and Nick Duff (wife: Rae), all of Lafayette; his mother and stepfather, Nancy and Marion “Pops” Bauer of Shadeland; a brother, Richard Morgan of Monticello; three sisters, Lisa Scarlett (husband: Jeff) of Shadeland, Stacey Meech (husband: Marc) of Heath, Ohio, and Angela Pharris (husband: Steve) of Nashville, Tenn.; two half sisters, Cheryl Hasenour of Kentucky and Misti Morgan of Owensboro, Ky.; and a half brother, Randy White (wife: Sharon) of Battle Ground.
He was preceded in death by his
father.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Abbott Funeral Home, Delphi, with the Rev. Todd Ladd officiating. Burial will be at Camden Cemetery. Friends may call today, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
