Evalyn V. Denman, 87, of Delphi, died at 2 p.m. on Dec. 19, 2005, at St. Elizabeth H e a l t h c a r e Center in Delphi.

Born in

Indianapolis on April 7, 1918, she was the daughter of Hazel Pike, and was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Lytle of Kokomo. She attended Kokomo schools.

Her marriage was to Gilbert O. Denman in Kokomo in 1952. He preceded her in death in 1975.

Mrs. Denman was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Argos and also in Talma, Ind.

She enjoyed embroidery.

Surviving are three daughters, Nancy Maxson of Delphi, Bessie M. Barnes of Zionsville and Joan McGriff of Kansas City, Kan.; a son, Paul Reece of Lancaster, S.C.; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, William I. Reece; her daughter, Charolette Swihart; and two grandsons, Mark and Richard Allen McGriff.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home. Services will be there on Friday at 2 p.m., with Pastor Nord Zootman officiating. Burial will be at Idaville Cemetery in Idaville.

Memorials may be given to the donor’s favorite charity.

Dean F. Snoeberger

Dean F. Snoeberger, 68, Lafayette, died at 10:43 p.m. Dec. 16, 2005, at Regency Place, Lafayette.

Born Nov. 17, 1937, in Carroll County, he was the son of Robert and Josephine Boone Snoeberger.

Formerly of Camden, he resided in Fort Wayne for many years, then in Indianapolis before settling in Lafayette.

Two nephews and three nieces survive.

A private family service will be held; there will be no visitation. Interment will be in Camden Cemetery.

Cree Funeral Home, Camden, is in charge of arrangements.
