Special Christmas services and programs
Calvary Chapel will present STAR SONG, A CHRISTMAS DRAMAon Dec. 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Carroll County Auction, across from the Peters-Revington office on Ruffing Street. The play is set at the inn which adjoins the stable where Jesus was born. The story is told from the point of view of the people at the inn, including travelers, Egyptians, a centurion, slaves and others. The event is free and open to the public.
Delphi United Methodist Church, 118 N. Union St., will hold LONGEST NIGHT SERVICE on Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. For those who have suffered a loss during the year, it is a reminder that there is hope in the midst of darkness. The public is invited.
The church invites the community to join in celebrating a candlelight Christmas Eve service on Dec. 24 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Hickory Grove Church will hold a CANDLELIGHT COMMUNION SERVICE at 10 p.m. Dec. 24 and a WORSHIP SERVICE at 10 a.m. Dec. 25.
