Flora Police issue warning

Flora Police are warning residents of a window peeper. According to town marshal Paul Redmon, his department has received several complaints.

“We’re asking residents to call police right away if they notice any suspicious activity,” said Redmon. “Please don’t wait to call police. It makes it harder for us to play catch-up when reports aren’t made immediately.” “Take note of what the voyeur is wearing and any other pertinent identifiers and write them down while they are fresh in your mind. Also take note of his direction of travel.”

Redmon suggested that residents keep their drapes closed and blinds shut during dark hours; keep motion lights operational; and keep house, garage and vehicle(s) locked.

Police have received reports about the voyeur during the early morning hours, as well as at night.
