The AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOODMOBILE will visit Carroll County on Thursday, Jan. 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Flora United Methodist Church, 107 East. Main Street. The church with the most volunteer donors will receive a $100 gift from the bloodmobile’s sponsor, the Flora Psi Iota Xi. To make an appointment, call 1-800-GIVE LIFE. Walk-ins are welcome.

Wildcat Wildlife Center will bring their EDUCATIONAL ANIMAL PROGRAMS to schools, scouts, and civic organizations this winter. Kids will want to collect nuts to load into the ‘nut mobile’ for the squirrels that overwinter. The kids’ programs follow the K-12 science standards. Hours are from 1 to 6:30 p.m. The Red Cross has announced that blood donations are down because of the recent snow storms.
