Mary Beard and Clifford “Bud” Dornette III, exchanged wedding vows Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. at Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. The bride is the daughter of the late Woodrow and Martha Hawn, formerly of Delphi. He is the son of Clifford and Bette Ann Dornette Jr. of Cincinnati.

Pastor Greg McDaniel officiated the double ring ceremony, as the bride was given in marriage by her children Scott Beard and Stacy Beard. Organist was Swany Fetters and flutist was Teresa Hay. Maid of honor was Stacy Beard of San Jose, Calif.

Performing the duties of best man was Jeff Dornette, brother of the groom.

A garden reception was held at the couple’s home, 117 Overcliff Rd., Cincinnati. Guest registrar was Marcia Sweeney. Program attendant was Celsie Myers, niece of the bride.

The bride is a 1964 graduate of Delphi High School. She is employed at National City Mortgage in Cincinnati.

The groom is a 1975 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is also employed with National City Mortgage.
