Hoosier Homestead Award

Henry and Cheryl Milburn of Burlington were honored recently with the Hoosier Homestead Award during a special statehouse ceremony in Indianapolis. They own two tracts of land in Burlington Township which have been in the Milburn family for over 150 years. That ownership qualified the Milburn family for the award. One tract has the family home which four generations of the Milburn family have resided in. They are pictured with Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman, and two of their four daughters, Maureen Steward and Melissa Adams. Not pictured are daughters Benita Plank and Bonnie Clark.
