Business Briefs TECUMSEH AREA PARTNERSHIP, INC. (TAP) is expanding. The not-forprofit, business-led organization that focuses on workforce development for the economic vitality of Region 4, has relocated and increased its capacity for service with recently hired staff members. TAP staff is available through their relocated offices at 976 Mezzanine Dr., Suite C, Lafayette, IN 765-477- 1710 to serve Benton, White, Cass, Carroll, Warren, Tippecanoe, Clinton, Fountain, Howard, Tipton, Miami and Montgomery counties. MARILYN L. WAGONER, M.D., of Burlington, has achieved Life Membership status with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). The AAFP recognizes family physicians who have distinguished themselves through service to family medicine and ongoing professional development. To achieve AAFP Life Member status, a family physician must be a continuous member for a minimum of 20 years, demonstrating her dedication to continuing medical education and the family medicine specialty. THE SIGN & TROPHY SHOPPE in Flora is now under new ownership. Doug and Anne Hodson of Cutler have purchased the business from Jim and Evelyn Cain of Delphi. The Hodsons and their children, Elissa and Cody, will run all aspects of the business, and Jim Cain will continue to do sales. The shop specializes in custom signs, truck lettering, trophies, plaques and other customized awards and gift items. Customers include local residents and businesses, trucking companies, schools, churches, sports teams/leagues, fraternal organizations, car clubs and scouting troops. Soon to be added to their showroom will be a line of candles and gifts with a taste of country. Doug, along with his father, Phil Hodson, also own Eagle Customs on the east side of Flora. Anne is employed by CREW Corporation in Indianapolis as a project manager, and will continue her career there.
