      Jerry Lee Oldfield, 74, of Cutler, died at 10:03 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at his home. Born Feb. 17, 1936, in Kokomo, he was the son of the late Jess Austin and Margaret Westerman Oldfield. His marriage was on Sept. 17, 1954, in Crawfordsville, to Bonnie Larie Miller, who preceded him in death on April 20, 2007. Mr. Oldfield was a graduate of Kokomo High School.

      Veta Nell Brown Meade, 92, formerly of Green Tree Assisted Living in West Lafayette, died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, March 14, 2010, at her son’s home near Buck Creek. She had been residing with him the past 11 months due to declining health.

      Kenneth E. Deitrich, 80, of Logansport died at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010, at his residence. Born Oct. 20, 1929, in Logansport, he was the son of Robert and Jessie Gertrude Soncarty Deitrich. His marriage was on March 22, 1953, at the Galveston Methodist Church, to Carole Sue Smith, who survives. Mr. Deitrich was a farmer and a Korean War Army veteran.

      James E. “Jim” Mc- Greevey, 76, of Delphi, died at 1:10 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2010, at his residence. He had battled cancer for the past six months. Born April 6, 1933, in Carroll County, he was the son of the late John E. and Mildred M. Hoover McGreevey. His marriage was on Oct. 6, 1956, in Delphi, to Carol Ann Lamb, who preceded him in death June 14, 2009.

Ronald D. Roberts
      Ronald D. Roberts, 68, of Rossville, died at 6:48 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. He was born May 10, 1941, in Indianapolis. In 1958 he graduated from high school in Hartford City. His marriage was on Dec. 21, 1979, to Clara Brattain, who survives. A veteran of the United States Navy, he served from 1960 to 1964.
